Cole Van Bruinisse

In the lab: 
Currently working on developing a test kit utilized in the field for grapevine pathogens to prevent spread amongst the whole crop. Graduated from the University of Washington in 2023 with a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Previously worked as a researcher in Brewer/Raghuraman Genome sciences lab at UW on mutational mechanisms and as a commercial laboratory pathogen screening analyst at IEH.

About Cole: 
In my free time I like to go backpacking, kayaking, fishing, and watch survivor/college football.
