About Brandy

I began my career with the Whiteley lab in 2014 at the LaMontange Center for Infectious Disease at the University of Texas in Austin. I joined GT in 2017 when the Whiteley Lab relocated from Austin to Atlanta. My husband and I have three children. In my free time, I love watching them compete in just about anything and traveling.

Research Interests

As the research operations manager for the lab, I’m responsible for project management, program development, and extramural funding. I hold a MA in Higher Education Administration and Student Development and am passionate about supporting our Early Career Researchers via establishing collaborations both within GT and with external partners.
