RNA-Seq

High-throughput RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) is a technology used to study the transcriptome of organisms and communities. Similar to microarray analysis, RNA-Seq can be used to identify differentially expressed genes under different conditions. In addition, RNA-Seq can also be used to identify transcriptome architecture, including transcriptional start sites for genes, polycistronic operons, and novel non-coding RNAs.
